Nature of This Agreement
These Terms constitute a private agreement between you and the Construction Alliance Private Members Association ("CAPMA"). By accessing our website or applying for membership, you acknowledge and accept these terms.
CAPMA operates as a private membership association under its own Constitution and private compact. All interactions occur strictly within the private domain.
Membership
2.1 Membership in CAPMA is open to men and women who agree to our Constitution and membership principles.
2.2 Membership is granted at the discretion of CAPMA. We reserve the right to decline applications.
2.3 Membership is for the individual and is non-transferable.
2.4 Members agree to conduct themselves in accordance with our Constitution and principles at all times.
Membership Consideration
3.1 Membership consideration is as published on our website at the time of application.
3.2 Consideration is a one-time amount for lifetime membership unless otherwise specified.
3.3 Additional products and services (such as Natural Law Trust packages) are optional and priced separately.
3.4 All amounts are in Australian Dollars (AUD).
Payment
4.1 Payment can be made by credit card, debit card, or bank transfer as available on our website.
4.2 Payment must be received in full before membership is activated.
4.3 We use secure third-party payment processors. We do not store complete payment card details.
No Refunds
5.1 CAPMA does not offer refunds.
5.2 We expect all applicants to conduct their own due diligence before applying. Take time to understand what CAPMA is, review our materials, ask questions, and ensure membership aligns with your values and goals before committing.
5.3 By submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have done your research and accept that no refund will be provided.
Member Conduct
6.1 Members agree to deal honestly and in good faith with other members.
6.2 Members must not misrepresent themselves, their qualifications, or their services.
6.3 Members must not use CAPMA membership for dishonourable purposes.
6.4 Members must respect the privacy and confidentiality of other members.
Termination
7.1 CAPMA may terminate membership for breach of these terms, the Constitution, or member principles.
7.2 Members may resign their membership by written notice.
7.3 No refund is payable upon termination or resignation.
Intellectual Property
8.1 All content on our website is the property of CAPMA or used under appropriate arrangement.
8.2 Members may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit our content without permission.
Limitation of Liability
9.1 CAPMA provides a membership association and related resources. We do not provide professional advice (legal, financial, tax, or otherwise).
9.2 Members are responsible for seeking independent professional advice where appropriate.
9.3 CAPMA's liability is limited to the membership consideration paid.
9.4 We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
Privacy
10.1 We collect and handle information in accordance with our Privacy Notice.
10.2 By becoming a member, you consent to our collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Notice.
Changes to Terms
11.1 We may update these terms from time to time.
11.2 Significant changes will be notified to members.
11.3 Continued membership after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Principles
12.1 This agreement is governed by the CAPMA Constitution and the principles of private compact, honour, and equity.
12.2 Any disputes between members or between members and CAPMA shall be resolved through our internal dispute resolution process in accordance with our Constitution.
